The roundtable meeting is established within the framework of the Cross-border E-Commerce Conference jointly organized by Amazon Global Selling and the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (iDEA) - under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, opened in Hanoi. This time, the Conference with the theme "Steadfast growth" was organized to find solutions to connect the supply chain, expand the product portfolio and build the brand. Thereby, it creates the foundation for a sustainable development roadmap for online exports in Vietnam.
The conference was attended by representatives from Vietnamese government agencies, senior leaders from Amazon Group globally and regionally, international sales partners, and nearly 1,000 guests, including industry associations, startups, and Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as Vietnamese selling partners on Amazon.
Amazon Global Selling is a program designed to help businesses expand globally, reaching Amazon customers worldwide and building international brands. Selling partners of various business types and sizes can reach hundreds of millions of Amazon customer accounts globally, including more than 200 million Prime customers and over 05 million business customers worldwide.
During the conference, Mrs. Lai Viet Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (iDEA) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, shared that Southeast Asia is one of the fastest-growing regions in the world of e-commerce. Vietnam ranks in the top three countries in Southeast Asia in terms of both market size and growth rate. Even in the challenging context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam has maintained a double-digit growth rate. In 2022, Vietnam's retail e-commerce reached a scale of $6.4 billion. It is expected that by 2023, with a growth rate of 25%, Vietnam's e-commerce scale will reach $20.5 billion. While this figure is still relatively modest in comparison to total retail sales nationwide, it promises to be a crucial driving force for the development of the e-commerce sector in Vietnam.
Mr. Vincent, head of the international IP dispute resolution department, represented REFINY at the Conference
Ms. Rosie and Mr. Vincent, representatives of REFINY, also attended the conference to meet and discuss with businesses and service providers.
Through direct sharing and exchange between businesses, manufacturers, brand owners, Amazon experts, and service providers in various fields such as account management, logistics, brand registration, billing, advertising, product selection, and sales training, REFINY looks forward to supporting sellers and businesses in resolving legal issues, brand-related challenges, and continuing to connect with service providers in the industry to learn about the necessary aspects of the business to support and help businesses succeed while reaching global customers.
