On May 10, 2023, in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, the Committee of Hai An and the city leaders organized Hai An High-Quality Development Workshop. Notably, the workshop was attended by Mr. Yu Lizhong (Secretary of Hai An City), Mr. Zhang Jihong (Party Committee Secretary of Shenzhen Technology University), Mr. Zhang Yinglai (Vice Director of Hai An Economic and technological development zone), and other leaders of cities and industrial areas.

Shenzhen has been known as one of the earliest, largest, and most developed economic zones established. Being located in the major strategic development region of Guangdong - Hong Kong – Macau and becoming the Chinese government's pilot construction area, Shenzhen has made remarkable development progress. Like Shenzhen, Hai An is currently targeted to become "Hai An Central Science and Technology Innovation City. This motivates extensive reforms and development cooperation.

During the Workshop, Mr. Luzhong (Secretary of Hai An City) emphasized:

“We hope that more advanced production projects will come to Hai An and the high-end, smart, and environment-friendly development of Hai An’s industry and manufacturing; It is expected that Hai An will receive more potential projects on scientific and technological innovation, and a huge number of innovative entrepreneurs will choose Hai An as their destination to make their dreams come true; Hoping for more leading enterprises in the development industry in Hai An, as entrepreneurs will conduct strategic cooperation with Hai An enterprises through investment, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, etc... which motivates the rejuvenation of traditional industries in Hai An, and achieve mutual beneficial development; Hoping for more industrial fund companies will invest in Hai An, as a large number of financial organizations and fund companies will come to Hai An to establish branches, raise industrial funds, participate in listing enterprise and investment cooperation, etc... Both sides will look for cooperation and together will expand the capital market.”

In this workshop, HONGDA BUSINESS SERVICES (represented by Ms. Angel Ho) and REFINY LAW FIRM (represented by Mr. Tommy Nguyen) honorably presented a speech regarding some foreign investors who have been successfully doing business in Hai An.

After the workshop, REFINY and HONGDA joined a separate meeting with Mr. Zhang Yinglai with the aim to support the investment to Hai An. REFINY strongly believes that with the encouragement of the policies, Hai An and other cities of China shall become great places for foreign investments in the near future./.
