Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu is a registered IP attorney and a Lawyer of Hanoi Bar Association. He has more than 10 years of experience providing full ranges of legal services for many clients. From 2013 to 2020, Hieu trained himself and gained legal experience by practicing as an associate at top tier Intellectual Property Firms in Vietnam. During this period, he was appointed to take care of establishing Intellectual Property rights and practicing enforcement measures for many clients, including, but not limited to CVS Pharmacy Inc. (Pharmacy Field - US), Obagi Inc. (Medical Field - US), Bridgestone Corp. (Car tires Field - JP), Lixil Group (Bathroom Appliances Field - JP), LG Household & Healthcare Co., Ltd. (Cosmetics Field - KR), SmileGate Inc. (Gaming Field - KR), SK Planet (Medias Entertainment Field - KR). Furthermore, Hieu has been in charge of drafting the opinions/applications in the name of his clients for claiming the client’s internet domains under WIPO-initiated Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) procedures. In the early of 2021, Hieu and his partners founded his Intellectual Property firm named Legiup, which provides a full spectrum of Intellectual Property services in Vietnam. Later on, Legiup was changed to Adastra IP Vietnam to become a member of Adastra IP Global, an IP firm based in Malaysia and have 07 branches in Asia, including Thailand, Australia, Philippines, India, etc. Since the merger completed, Adastra IP Vietnam has become an official branch of Adastra IP Global and played an important role for connecting and assisting foreign clients to not only establish but also to enforce its IP rights in Vietnam territory. The main clients of Adastra IP Vietnam includes, but not limited to Baby Bus Corp (Media & Entertainment Field - CN), Kubiq Corp (Household Furniture Field - MY), Buzzrack Corp (Vehicle Accessories Field - TW). In 2022, Hieu teamed up with his attorney colleagues, who are experienced in the e-commerce field, to found REFINY LAW FIRM. During the journey, the team has gradually grown up by satisfying more and more clients, who are at the top tier in the Vietnamese e-commerce market. From the establishment date, the team has successfully assisted the clients in establishing 100+ companies, setting up 150+ payment gateway accounts, settled 120+ Intellectual Property dispute cases, have 2,000+ Intellectual Property reports approved by the most popular ecommerce marketplaces in Vietnam (Lazada, TikTok Shop, Facebook). In March 2023, REFINY LAW FIRM was proud to be selected by the CENTER OF INFORMATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY - Ministry of Industry and Trade as one of the strategic partners for the Go-export program to help Vietnamese enterprises bring their Made in Vietnam products to the international e-commerce platforms.
